Early in our career, we helped to promote fascinating founders with brilliant ideas. One client, Don Cooke, was one of the most daring. He had dreams of lashing his neighbors to computers night and day to digitize every street in the US. So we went to work and helped Geographic Data Technology tell their story and get free press attention.
Today, much of the digital mapping you see and use is as a result of GDT's revolutionary database.
GDT was eventually sold to TeleAtlas for $100 million, and TeleAtlas was gobbled up like a throat lozenge by TomTom for $4.3 billion.
We love knowing that we played a part helping this startup revolutionize how mankind interacts with machines.
